How to Pay Your Dues

Dues are billed once a year and paid online through the member portal. The steps are almost the same for REALTOR® and Affiliate members, differing only in the voluntary contributions on your statement.

Paying Online

Open the steps for your membership class.

REALTOR® Members

Sign in to the member portal. Your username is your first and last name in lowercase with a dot between them, like jane.smith. Use your existing password.
Choose Pay Dues from your account menu.
Under Open Orders, click Renew Membership.
Review your dues statement. You will see three voluntary contribution options. To change any of them, click the blue Edit link beside the item, make your selection, then click Update Order.
Click Pay Now at the bottom of your statement once your selections are final. You can print the statement before you submit payment.
Enter your credit card details and click Continue to finish.

Affiliate Members

Sign in to the member portal. Your username is your first and last name in lowercase with a dot between them, like jane.smith. Use your existing password.

Under Open Orders, click Renew Membership.
Review your dues statement. You will see one voluntary contribution, for NORBAR Charity. To change it, click the blue Edit link beside the Charity's name, then click Update Order.
Click Pay Now at the bottom of your statement once your selections are final. You can print the statement before you submit payment.
Enter your credit card details and click Continue to finish.

What You Are Paying For

REALTOR® dues cover your membership at all three levels, NORBAR, CAR, and NAR. Affiliate dues cover the local services, events, and marketing opportunities open to Affiliate members; Affiliates do not pay CAR or NAR dues.

Your statement also offers voluntary contributions. These are optional, and you can set any of them to zero.

All dues, assessments, voluntary contributions, and fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
